Mathematical biology
embraces bioinformatics,
modelling and statistics (BBSRC, Weir report). We are working on all
these fields and we feel belonging to both schools of systems
biology, the top-down and the bottom-up school. We develop new
statistical methods and dynamical models helping
to
better understand the amazingly complex biological systems. In
collaboration with experimental groups we apply different
computational methods (developed by others and ourselves) for best data
analysis. Our
work comprises research in genomics,
transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics.
