The policy at the Flow Lab is to provide a user-friendly, flexible and high quality service.

Examples of routine applications are:

High Speed cell sorting (library screening, rare event sort, etc.)
Multi colour analysis
(Immuno)phenotyping
DNA content–Cell cycle and ploidy analysis
Apoptosis
Gene reporter assay (autofluorescent proteins (GFP etc.), LacZ)
Multiplex Bead Cytometry
Plant cytometry-protoplast, organelle analysis and sorting
Microbial Cytometry (gene expression, single cell sort, viability, functional assays etc.)

Research at the IFR Flow Facility is performed to maintain, develop and exploit our expertise and resource in support of IFR's research themes.
