The IFR Flow Cytometry facility currently has five Flow Cytometers. These are located in Rooms E121A, B, C & D. For training and booking see below.

	Beckman Coulter Cytomics FC500 MPL The multiplatform loading FC500 MPL is a dual laser five colour system. It has a 20mW Argon laser operating at 488nm and a solid-state 25mW lasers emitting at 635nm. More info...
	Beckman Coulter Epics Altra Three laser system used for analysis and cell sorting. Equipped with watercooled Coherent Innova 90 and 300 lasers and red HeNe laser emitting at 635nm.

For data analysis users of the facility can book one of three dedicated workstations with specialised flow cytometry data analysis software.

Training

There are regular training sessions for our benchtop flow cytometers and for using the Data Analysis Software. Please contact Roy Bongaerts for further information.

Booking a Flow Cytometer

Internal users who have an account on the IFR or JIC network can use Outlook for booking a flow cytometer.
