FolateFuncHealth is co-ordinated by Paul Finglas, of the Institute of Food Research, Norwich, UK. He is responsible to the European Commission for the scientific and financial of the project and chairs the Steering Committee.

The scientists in the project have been split into seven working groups to help the smooth running of the project. 

Each working group has a leader who are responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of the work. The work group leaders report to the steering committee consisting of the co-ordinator, two principal contractors and an industrial representative.
